My journey and inspiration
My path to becoming a storyteller began in New Jersey and evolved through significant experiences in the music and film industries. Moving from New Jersey, taking drama and creative writing in high school in Florida, and then working on films like "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" with Tyler Perry in Georgia, profoundly shaped my craft. Being an extra and a casting director back in 2004 gave me invaluable behind-the-scenes insights, enhancing my writing and making me a more perceptive artist. These formative years instilled in me a deep understanding of narrative and character, which I pour into every story I write.
